Discovery Time

We have had a wonderful morning discovering how to show someone in Piwakawaka what we are confident at. Here are some of the newer children interacting with yellow and red home bases.

Balloon Handwriting

Today the yellow room had a fantastic time writing the letter 'x' all over some balloons that were left over from our Fun Day!

Investigations - bee watching

Today for investigations we observed the bees in our school bee hive. We watched them fly around, get pollen from the flowers and then go back into their hive.
We wondered what it would look like inside the hive!

Rhymes

Today during hui we had 5 little speckled frogs come and visit to help us sing our old favourite for the week! We were impressed with how high they could jump!

Balloon Fun

We had a lot of fun blowing up balloons for some games that will be at the Burnside Primary School Fun Day tomorrow! We are all very excited!!!
