Handwriting

WOW!  What great learners we have in Piwakawaka!  Miss Smits and I were a little mean giving the children so much handwriting to do but they were Burnside Stars and gave it a try.  We will now use the children's handwriting to work out some goals for them for their handwriting.  It might be that they need to work on holding their pen correctly, sitting their letters on the line, making the letters with the correct formation, making sure the letters are the right size, or increasing their speed without loosing how neatly they can write their letters and words.
