Today the Yellow room had their second sculpture lesson with Miss Smits we are learning how to add texture to our Gruffalo using our fingers, toothpicks and popsicle sticks. We were so focused on our learning that we didn't want to stop for lunch!

Go All Blacks GO

To show our support of the All Blacks BPS had a black day. Here is our Piwakawaka Team ready to support the 'boys in black'. Go All Blacks Go!!

Swimming at Jellie Park

Our first week at swimming had gone wonderfully well. The children have coped well with the cold wind, rain and routine of getting in and out of the water.
The confidence of the children after three days is noticeable by the teachers (on the side of the pool).

Butterfly Garden

The Red and Yellow Rooms loved getting out in the butterfly garden as part of our investigations topic this term. They worked hard as a team to pull out some very big weeds to make our garden ready for some new plants.

Discovery

Today at Discovery we are continuing our Disposition of Confidence. If we are good at something we can share our knowledge so that someone else will feel confident trying this activity. We can share our ideas and knowledge to create and explore.
