Investigating reusing and recycling

Today we investigated items that we can recycle and reuse. We made a list of items at school that we reuse and investigated items at home that we could reuse and recycle that would benefit our school. Today we made 

compost from food scraps from home. We will add scraps to this daily and investigate the change in the compost. Then we will trial different ways to use the compost. Here are the children investigating how we make compost.

Bucket Fillers

Congratulations to these children for filling their buckets. You are wonderful role models in our team who show integrity.

Perseverance

At Discovery our disposition is perseverance. Here we are outside persevering with our objectives of balancing and creating a maze and trialling it to see if it works.

Fathers Day

The children had a wonderful day with Dad's, Uncles and grandparents on Friday.
