Wonderful Writing

Heather wrote a great explanation about pulleys.  She has worked hard on her goal and Maya nominated her as the Super Star Writer.  Congratulations Heather!

Burnside Stars

Collin and Alexia were our Piwakawaka Burnside Stars that we celebrated at assembly this week.  Alexia has learnt all the alphabet letter sounds and Collin has been working so hard to make his handwriting the right size and shape, and to make it the right way AND sit it on the line.  We are so proud of both of you.  Congratulations - Tino Pai!

Burnside Assembly Stars

Welcome to the Piwakawaka Team and Burnside Primary Shanyn, Alex, Kahlea and Yassin. Issra introduced her brother brilliantly to the whole school.

Shining Stars

Tom and Tyson were our Burnside Shining Stars at Assembly this week.  Tom was also the Blue Homebase Room Handwriting Star!  What an awesome day he had of celebrations!

Mother's Day Celebration

We had a great time with our special visitors on Friday.  Thanks to all the Mothers, Grandmothers and Aunties who came to spend some time with us.  We hope you enjoyed a little bit of pampering, including pikelets, honey rice bubble cake and your vases with flowers.  We LOVED having you at school.
