We really enjoyed our Waka races yesterday! We took turns to race our Waka in the water trays. It was interesting to see how they floated. We then blew on them, it got very windy!
After we had finished our races we turned our chairs into a long Waka. We had to work together and paddle hard to get all the way to New Zealand. When we got tired from paddling we had to put our sails up just like the Maori did when they were coming to New Zealand.
